Change the Registered Owner on Windows XP

If you want to change the registered owner details associated with your installation of Windows XP, this is pretty simple with a quick registry edit, just do the following:

Open registry editor, "Start" -> "Run", then type "regedit" and click "OK" or press "Enter"

Browse to the following location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version

Double click on the "RegisteredOwner" key and change the value

Done!
