Export Your Windows XP Desktop Theme From One Computer to Another

If you really like your desktop theme and want to copy this to another computer running XP, it can be done quite easily.

1) Right-click on an empty portion of your desktop and select "Properties"

2) In the Display Properties window, just select the theme you wish to copy, then click the "Save As" button

3) When you click "Save As", you will be able to save the .theme file in any location you like. Just take note of where you have saved it

4) Now you can save your .theme file to a USB or removable drive and copy this onto the computer that you want to install your custom theme

5) Once you have copied this to the other computer, right-click on the desktop and select "Properties"

6) Select "Browse" from the "Theme" drop down menu. You will now be prompted to select the .theme file, so select the file you just copied over

7) Click "OK" and you are done. Your theme should now be installed.

Just apply the same process above to add your theme to other XP computers.
